Thin, Light & Flexible.

When do I need to order a new pair?

Your order frequency depends on a few factors including frequency of wear, the conditions exposed (ie. construction work in wet conditions will cause faster wear), and for convenience purposes.

For the average patient, we recommend re-scanning your feet every 2 years to ensure  your support is updated. For every year in between, many patients will re-order for convenience as this allows them to order different orthotic styles for different shoes, or having a spare pair to avoid the need to pull the orthotics out of their shoes repetitively if they enjoy wearing a rotation of shoes on the regular.

Insurance & Visit Info

1-2 Visits

Usually patients take 1 visit to scan their feet and complete a biomechanical exam. Patients can opt for a 2nd visit during pick-up for a fitting (make sure it fits well, doctor can trim orthotics if required).

5 Documents

Insurance will usually request for 5 documents to complete the claim before reimbursing you. Detailed instructions and documents will be organized for you as required.

Prescription Note

A prescription note is highly likely required for this product. Please contact us for details.

Am I Covered?

This coverage is usually listed in your benefits plan under "Custom Orthotics" in healthcare products, not services.

The coverage range is usually between  $250-700. The usual number of pairs you can order per year is 1, sometimes 2. These details vary significantly across all plans.

Claim Details

Custom orthotics must arrive in the mail and be given to the patient before all the insurance documents are released. This is because insurance usually requests to see proof of production and a pick-up date. Because of this, it usually takes at least 1 week before you can submit your claim.

Your individual coverage is unique.

Plan coverage details may vary significantly across each individual, even if you have the same employer or insurance company.
